We are committed to our mission of teaching and

training students to embrace a God-centered world view.

 

At Calvary Baptist Day School, we desire that students grow spiritually; therefore we strive to:

·     teach our students that God’s Word is without error, is true, and is able to instruct, rebuke, correct,    and train in righteousness.  (2 Timothy 3:16)

·     guide students to a personal relationship to Jesus Christ as their Savior and Lord.

·     present the gospel of Christ trusting Him to do a transforming work in these young hearts.  “. . .for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believeth. . .”(Romans 1:16)

·     encourage students to pray and nurture a personal relationship with God

·     help students discern God’s will for their lives.

·     assist students to develop a Christian world view.

·     help students identify their spiritual gifts and their place in the Body of Christ.

 

At Calvary Baptist Day School, we desire that students grow academically; therefore, we strive to:

·     instill in our students an ongoing hunger and thirst for learning.  (Luke 2:52)

·     establish high academic standards for which students are responsible.

·     develop ways to help each child reach their God-given potential.  (Jeremiah 29:11)

·     provide opportunities for learning through different subject areas.

·     use different teaching styles to meet students’ different learning styles.

 

At Calvary Baptist Day School, we desire that students grow socially; therefore, we strive to:

·     motivate students to choose those steps that will support them as responsible children and citizens.  (Proverbs 6:22)

·     provide a framework within which students can develop productive decision-making skills.

·     model Christ-like behavior as adults and nurture Christ-like behavior in the students.  (I Peter 3:15)

·      guide students in identifying “right from wrong” and the legal and moral implications of their decisions.  (Romans 8:5-6)
