The Coach: Bev Amick
Beverly is a graduate of East Carolina with a bachelors degree in Social Work. She was captain of the ECU women's swim team her junior and senior years. She is currently a member of the North Carolina Masters Swim Team.
Beverly and Doug have been married for 14 years and have 2 daughters, Ashley and Salem. Ashley attends Johnson & Wales University and Salem attends CBDS where she is a member of the CBDS swim team.
This is Beverly's 5th season as head varsity swim coach at Calvary. The girls' team has been conference champions for 2006 and 2007. Our swim team has grown from 14 swimmers to 41 in 5 seasons. The team's plan for success is to "plan purposefully, prepare prayerfully, proceed positively and pursue persistently".
