The Coach: Scott Tolentino
Scott graduated from Pensacola Christian College in 2001 and was blessed by God when he married the following fall of the same year. He moved from North Carolina to Florida shortly after getting married. After his wife graduated from PCC he moved back to North Carolina. Scott has two amazing children one girl born in 2002 and one boy born in 2006. He's been living in North Carolina since 2003 and started teaching at Calvary the same year.
Scott's been blessed to be a part of athletic program since 1992. He enjoys all sports both coaching and participating. He played basketball from high school through college and has been coaching in some aspect since his senior year of high school. He began his coaching career at Calvary by assisting with the varsity men's soccer program in 2003. He was blessed to have a Godly mentor those first three seasons. He then began coaching the Middle School Girl's in the winter of 2004. The Lord has blessed him with some amazing young ladies that love to have fun and play basketball. God has blessed and given the MS Lady Cougars an exciting 37 - 3 record to this point in his third season. The Lady Cougars are back-2-back conference champions and have missed back-2-back tournament titles by two points to our rivals from Westchester Country Day. We are anticipating in another exciting basketball season this year as we seek to give Him glory in our play on the court.
