The Coach: Jody Thomasson
Coach Jody Thomasson will be going into his 2nd year with the Middle School baseball team. He graduated from Appalachian State University and Starmount High School. This is his first year as head coach of the middle school baseball team at CBDS. Coach Thomasson has coached baseball for the past 7 years. His travel baseball team has won many tournaments at the state level and finished 2nd at the AAU Nationals and also finished 2nd at the Triple Crown Nationals against teams from all over the country. We will teach the players the fundamentals of the game, to respect their teammates, and to develop character as young men.
Coach Thomasson will have the help of Coach Overby and Coach Peterson who both bring a tremendous amount of baseball knowledge and Christian influence. We will work together as a team to develop these young men into Christian athletes. We fell blessed to participate and help as life coaches and character coaches for the middle school boys at CBDS.
